The style, decor, comfort. The owner hostess is an angel. Was able to lead us to everything that made the trip exceptional.

Wouldn’t Stay Again
Publié le 30 nov. 2019 sur HotelsDiane was very accommodating with storing my luggage and sharing some pointers about the neighborhood. The room was adequate in terms of accommodation but the fridge had not been cleared out and there were papers from the previous guest on the mantel. They do not serve breakfast, but rather, provide a voucher for breakfast at a place a few blocks away - in the opposite direction of where I was going, so not very useful. A colleague is going to a conference at Columbia (which was why I was there) and I recommended she find other accommodations.

We provide early check in and later check out. Occasionally we upgraded customers to nicer unit. If the guests came very early, took red eye flights and begged to get some sleep, we also understood and tried to accommodate as well. The breakfasts at the cafe nearby was praised my 95% of our guests, with quality, friendly and services. They are open early and have wide range of delicious foods. I’m sorry that this guest was too busy to visit there. We provided unlimited, spring water, great coffee, Tea, cereals, milk eggs, bread, butter n jams, fruits & pastries or more in occasions.
We have served many Columbia U community and is driven to better services. We are 10 mins walk to Columbia.

Worse experience ever! Me and my husband travel a lot, we’ve been in different places around the world and never be treated like this. Diane is a terrible host who offers the house as a hotel which clearly it is not. We had to leave and pay another hotel the third day of our staying. She has false advertising in Expedia and Airbnb, which actually is illegal. We expected to much for what it was. It’s a shame that we couldn’t get our money back, but we preferred to leave and loose some money than stay another night.

We were very disappointed that the guests used the bath tub that was not advertised on any websites, they stayed for 3 days, then heard the jacuzzi from other unit which was equipped for Jacuzzi. They used the tub without permission, asked instruction and damaged the property. Then they fled. Refused to take their responsibility for their actions.

Diane and Dorothy were extremely helpful. Even text the night before our stay letting us know they mapped out the bus schedule for us. Convenient and very cool place to stay.
