I had a prepaid reservation with a confirmation number. When I showed up at the property, I was told my reservation was cancelled. I asked who cancelled it and the hotel informed me that travelocity cancelled my reservation. After speaking with travelocity it was the hotel who cancelled my reservation. The hotel never called or emailed me that my reservation was cancelled. They apparently over booked the hotel. The hotel left me homeless for the night. I spoke with the hotel manager today and he said he would email me an apology letter. Hopefully they do. NO ONE SHOULD BE DENIED A ROOM IF IT IS PREPAID AND THEY HAVE A CONFIRMATION NUMBER. I book hotel rooms every single week for work. I am well versed in checking in and checking out. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. Be cautious booking here, they may randomly cancel your reservation and leave you homeless like they did to me. The front desk was zero help she basically told me I was S.O.L.
