Peaceful place in the country

Our Stay
Publié le 8 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayBe aware there is no dishwasher, and we were there during cluster fly season, so a lot of flies around the windows. It’s very small, so if you are large sized, it may be too small of a bed.
Very clean, nice to have a grill and fire pit with wood supplied. Good supply of kitchen equipment and some spices. Cozy house, quiet location.

Great Cabin

Great Base Camp

We chose this location because it was perfectly located between Lake Michigan and Lake Superior with easy access to the Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls

Great place to use as a launching pad for day trips
Publié le 13 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayVery nice, clean, and well supplied. It was just as described. We enjoyed being able to use the kitchen. It had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable. The DVDs supplied were a pleasant surprise even though we didn't use them since we were shooting for an electronic lite vacation.
It was convenient for day trips to Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks (multiple locations), and The Logging Museum. All of which were worth visiting!

Excellent spot for the UP
