Property was clean just couple of dirty tissues left behind in wardrobe.

I stayed here recently, the property was easy to find and the code system was good. Room however was small and run down, very basic. Door to bedroom area was jammed and wouldn't close. A friend stayed up the street in a cheaper but much nicer place.

This property was absolutely disgusting. The smell was like old sewage as soon as we opened the door. Every single surface was filthy. The beds had been slept in and bedding not changed as you could see the indent on the mattress plus sheets were untucked. I spoke with 3 different people from The property and was told an hour later that a cleaner would come and clean the property however we had already left. My mum was in Newcastle for cancer treatment and could not stay there. We were offered a refund from one of the staff members however 5 minutes later some dude called tony Jesmond called back screaming and shouting like a 2 year old child saying that he was not going to refund us. He demanded again details of the concerns we had about the property which I had now told 3 different people and provided video footage of the state of the place and tried to deny that it was accurate. I still have not been refunded from either Expedia or directly from the property. Absolutely revolting place and even worse response from a grown ass man yelling at a woman over the phone.

My recent stay was not the best experience, I had issues with conflicting check in information, parking and accessing the floor that our room was on. The actual room itself was nice and suited our purposes well. There was an issue with one of the windows that meant that due to the very windy night there was a lot of howling coming from the window. I contacted them regarding the issues that I had and they replied with an apology email which was not just a generic apology but addressed each of the issues that I had. I have stayed at a different apartment owned by the same company and did not have any issues with that check in at all.

My stay was from the Wednesday, leaving on Sunday. During the week, it was quiet, however on Friday night one of the residents decided to have a party with loud music and talking till approx. 4am Saturday morning. I also had issues with the Wi-Fi and ended up using my phone hotspot. The unit was clean and bed comfortable, I especially like to air con & heating. The real negative for me was the parking issue. To be charged $25 per night for parking - NOT happening and for a solo traveller, parking late a night in side streets and having to walk, I wasn't a fan of having to do this. Over all, it was a good stay - not sure I'd book this again.

Calling reception staff to check in and get front entrance code and room code was very easy and didn’t take long at all. The fella I spoke to was lovely and didn’t beat around the bush lol. Also room was great. Very spacious. Definitely going to be staying here again. Highly recommend 👍
