The perfect place to stay
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis bunkhouse is the cutest place we have ever stayed. Loved being surrounded by horses. The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in away from home. My favorite part was finding Jax waiting out the back door to say hi. Farm fresh eggs in the fridge and muffins on the counter were a nice touch. We will be staying here again. Such a gem.

Idyllic stay at Whirlawind Ranch

As you drive up the gated drive you will see the horses, donkeys, and a sheep grazing in the pasture. The bunkhouse is a one bedroom, one bath house which includes a nice kitchen. This immaculate little house is connected to a likewise immaculate stable area. The owner's ranch dog stopped by to say hello and we saw a couple of the barn cats lazing in the sun. There is a lovely shaded area next to the bunkhouse with an outdoor table, fire pit, and hammock. The owner was both friendly and helpful but not intrusive at all! Can't say enough about this lovely spot!

Publié le 9 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayI had a wonderful time with my stay at Whirlawind Ranch. The place was nice and clean and it was very relaxing looking at the horses in the pasture. Colleen gave me directions to the lake down the road and I used the free pass to get into the park. I also enjoyed the farm fresh eggs that were in the refrigerator. I would love to return sometime.

Horse Heaven!

Labor Day weekend getaway

A rest in the country
Publié le 24 août 2024 sur HomeAwayOur stay at the ranch was relaxing and fun. Jak, my grandson loved Jax, the beautiful farm dog who made us welcome. Our place was well furnished with all we needed and the view from the lawn was beautiful. Thanks to Colleen we were well taken care of and I recommend Whirlawind Ranch as a wonderful location for a peaceful country retreat.
