Great hotel!!!!
Publié le 23 juin 2015 sur HotelsSuper séjour, staff très agréable et serviable, quartier TOP avec tout à coté. 20min a pied du centre de Newcastle. Leur burggers sont trop bon!!!!

Publié le 21 juin 2015 sur HotelsTrès bon hôtel. Jolie décoration intérieure. Ne pas se fier à l'arrière de l'hôtel où se trouve le parking, ne correspond pas avec le devant. Bon petit déjeuner et repas.

Not for light sleepers
Publié le 13 nov. 2022 sur HotelsWe stayed here as it was close to the wedding venue we were attending and didn’t seem too expensive. Easy to find and park park at. Check in was easy and the room was spacious and I was grateful for the kettle and teabags/milk and use of hairdryer and ironing board. The downside was the bars downstairs. We were at the front of the building right above the hotel bar and both Friday and Saturday night I struggled to sleep til the partygoers left at midnight. I had the windows shut and the blinds and curtains closed to try drown out the sound but to no avail. I am a light sleeper though. My partner sleeps through anything so he was fine. That was until some guests returned back at 1am Saturday night screaming like idiots at each other. They woke us both up and should learn some respect. The area was great in the day time though. Local amenities, a lovely park and an easy walk or tube to the town centre.

Thank you for your review Julie and your lovely comments about the hotel. We are sorry if you had a disturbed sleep- the room is soundproofed and triple glazed to mitigate any noise (Osborne Road is a busy area in University term time) and we have a night porter who did confront the noisy guests. You are right though- they should have more respect for fellow guests and hotel staff alike, unfortunately all hotels get the odd ones who don't.

nice but noisy
Publié le 8 sept. 2022 sur Hotelsit was quite noisy until 1130pm, when the pub cleared. I had no idea when I booked this was above a noisy student pub. Hotel and check in great otherwise

Thank you for your review Jeff and for your nice comments about the hotel. We are in a student area and you unfortunately hit on the return to University so we understand your comments. Our rooms are soundproofed and triple glazed to mitigate noise which generally stops anything filtering through, maybe you had an open window and we hope that this didn't cause you too much inconvenience.

Nice hotel
Publié le 9 janv. 2022 sur HotelsCheck in was really nice I arrived early the gentleman on reception was very nice and helpful very informative,room was very clean and had a double bed and a single bed In it I had only asked for a single bed so I was very happy

We are a no smoking hotel with a fine imposed for those few guests who choose to ignore this. We can only apologise if someone had smoked but all rooms are thoroughly aired and cleaned and if we detect smoke we use an anti tobacco bomb to counteract any lingering smells. We do our best to deter this behaviour; it's a shame that the odd inconsiderate person thwarts our efforts.
