Overall, the Lodge at West River is a decent, clean, secure, comfortable place to spend one night. The property-- which is actually a motel, not a lodge -- sits next to a surprisingly busy secondary road. For the price, I would have expected more ambience, softer sheets, and on-site dining. I will say the home-baked breakfast treats look amazing (alas, no carbs for me!) All that said, the staff and owners are welcoming, helpful and responsive. And that can be rare these days.

Publié le 14 août 2024 sur HotelsBeautiful location - older inn but well maintained. Some traffic noise but thanks for the complimentary earplugs. Best stop on our whole vacation. Breakfast was amazing -local and fresh. Handy small grocery nearby. Outdoor seating and fire pits. So nice. Loved it.

Great spot for our trip to see the eclipse in April 2024 and for Vermont sightseeing. Very clean, comfortable room. Pet friendly but no smell of others having pets there. We'd definitely stay here again.

Very clean, the staff is great, the breakfast was very good. Fresh muffins, homemade muffins and breads.
