The manager did not propose any other solution, the night was the worst from this 20 days trip... The manager offered à 10% discount. Bad,Bad, Bad expérience....

After looking through the ratings and reviews online, we were looking forward to our stay. However, the unit that we booked had ants in the bathroom and sitting room area when we arrived and the bathroom was dirty. We asked if there was another unit available. The front desk showed us a basement unit, but that also had ants. When I pulled back the bed comforter, there was hair on the pillow. The front desk person was with us and we both took pictures of the hair and ants. I asked if there was housecleaning that could be contacted to clean the unit and change the sheets. I was told that that I had to take the unit as is or would be charged the full price unless someone else rented the unit that night. I called Expedia. They called the front desk and were told the hotel would not issue a refund despite the ants and lack of cleaning services. After about 2 hours of phone calls (including with an Expedia supervisor who also tried to speak with the hotel) we decided to leave to enjoy the remaining time we had in Newport. We had to pay outright for another hotel. Definitely would not recommend this hotel.

The price I paid via Expedia was not the price the hotel told me on their invoice. It was much lower!!!!
The Breakfast was as good as seen on the foto.
They had an additional free afternoon tea. Only the tea Water could be better!
The room was ok, but I could not figure out how to change the volume on the TV...

Great Location

The location is two minute walk to the warf area with all the shops and dining there. There plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and confectionery stores just outside of the inn.
The inn was very clean and rooms comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
