Great staff, clean rooms

I called ahead on Tuesday to ensure we had a upper floor room, which I was told was we did. We arrived Friday evening to find we had a 2nd floor room and the staff at your desk gave no other options than that room. Said I would have to talk to a manager on Saturday, which did me no good on a Friday night. So I would have to take that room or argue about refunding my money, and then end up with nowhere to stay.
Our room was under very inconsiderate people who stomped on the floor late into the night and started early in the morning. Felt like if we reported it nothing would be done, and my have retaliation from the people above making it worse.
We will be trying other hotels around the area before returning to this one.
