Mini vaca
Posted Sep. 29, 2024 on HomeAwayCame up to grt away for the weekend and it did not disappoint. Lake erie was great. The wave smashing the wall out back was awesome. I could have sat there all night. All and all a great place to stay

Posted Sep. 8, 2024 on HomeAwayThe house was nice and clean. Great communication with the owners. Right on lake erie, the only issue we had was the wall there is no beach. We like fishing but didnt catch alot here. Great view of the lake. Would definitely come back very quiet.

Love the Lake view
Posted Aug. 2, 2024 on HomeAwayWe chose this location to be near our daughter and son-in-law. The place met our needs as being able to see the lake from the property and having a short drive to a nice beach. It was clean and updated. We were there hot days but there were plenty of air conditioners to keep us cool.

Hi Tina, thank you for your stay; I thought we would get 5 stars like everybody else for all our hard work which reflected in the house. In your case you need to give more than 5 stars for allowing the extra person who wasn't in the booking for free of charge. If everything is good, I think we deserve 5 stars, since these random ratings bring the average down, which will ruin all our hard work. I sent you many messages, did not get a single reply from you; if you see any discrepancy or question, we would have answered. In the future, please let us know if you are bringing any extra guests who are not in the booking and communicate if you have any questions. Thank you for your stay again. God bless.

Lakefront

Thanks David for your review; if you park alongside the fence, you can park your truck with a boat trailer. Also, some street parking is available with in walking distance.

Clean, Comfortable, and Roomy
Posted Jun. 23, 2024 on HomeAwayAndrew's house was a great place to relax and a convenient place for sightseeing. It is just as pictured. Andrew is very responsive. As for the few negative comments posted: when we were there the lawn was in good shape, the steps to the seawall are fine (could use a handrail), check in was very easy, the coffee maker has a switch in the back, and in addition to all the TV channels we used the HDMI cord to connect our computer to the TV and watch our personal streaming services. The internet worked fine (cell phone was hit or miss).
We enjoyed the beach at Sterling State Park 20 minutes away. Detroit, Dearborn, and Ann Arbor are all within an hour's drive. The town of Estral Beach isn't really a town, but stores and restaurants are only a 15 minute drive. I enjoyed walking south on Lakeshore Drive and looking at the inlet and the wildlife. I even saw a moose crossing a narrow strip of water!
Our only issue was with mayflies, but that's a seasonal thing and they were only bad the first couple of days we were there.

I always stay on top of things and love to provide a clean and safe house for people to come and enjoy. The location is great for an evening or morning walk and enjoying the outdoors. I know cell phone coverage is not that great, but guests can connect to wifi calling, this way you don't have to go through that signal issue. It was a pleasure hosting you and your family. Quaint home on the water
