Anniversary Trip

This was an anniversary trip. We had never stayed here before. We had the Safari room. Views of the ocean and beach can’t be beat. Peggy, the property manager/owner was awesome! We enjoyed visiting with her during our stay. I will definitely recommend Moolack to our friends/family. Thanks again Ms. Peggy for your hospitality and kindness. We will be back!

If you are looking for a getaway to the beach and other local attractions, this is the place to go. Check-in was easy. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room was well stocked with coffee, etc. The beach below the hotel is amazing if you like to go for long walks

We stayed in the Hawaii room and absolutely LOVED it! The view was breath-taking, the access to the beach was so close and the room details were absolutely fantastic. We loved that the decor was done with such caring and creativity; we could tell that this motel holds a special place in the owner's heart. Penny was absolutely a ray of sunshine (and the sweetheart, four-legged greeter as well!!). We will absolutely let everyone know about this gem of a place!! Thank you!!

I was expecting my stay to be like all my other stays for the past 25 years. I was so looking forward to my ocean waves and relaxing. Instead I ended up having to go out and eat because I couldn’t stand to be in my room because as I arrived I was told my room stuck of crab/seafood. Plus they tried to clean it and doors and windows have been open all day. Not only now it stinks but it has 50 plus bugs inside it. The manager was apologetic but that doesn’t help. My child and I got a bug wall thing, plug ins, and candles. Got rid of most of the bugs. Next day the manager couldn’t believe the smell was still ther, I suggested baking soda for frig. And white vinegar for the wood table and cabinets, which the manager had waiting outside my door the next day, so cleaned and it was a little better but not gone still. As we talked the day before I told her that prior years a sign was on the wall that said no crab or seafood to be cooked or eaten in the room. She told me she was having a three hour conversation with the owner saying she can’t allow this anymore because it wasn’t right for me to put up with this smell. My child was cold because I left everything open but the room door to try and lesson the smell. I would of thought I’d get some type of compensation if not a total reimbursement because my dream vacation for relaxation so needed for all my daughter and I have been going through and it was an absolute nightmare; all my intentions of making breakfast for my daughter,etc;not

Hi JulieI’m truly sorry that this happened to that room yes I was upfront and honest with you when you arrived about this and you were OK you understood everything you weren’t angry or anything. I did do my best to deep clean that room to try to get that smell. Yes, I did get everything that you told me to get. I did put it at the door. Asked if you wanted me to go in and re-clean that room you told me no I Discussed this with the owners to put signs up for no more discussed this with the owners to put signs up for no more Guest using seafood being cooked in the rooms and if Guest go out crabbing or fishing, they need to put their coolers outside instead of leaving it in the room this year with the flies in the Nats, there’s nothing that I can do on that with mother nature and we’re on the beach so I apologize for that. I did not ask you to go out and buy anything for that room. You went out and bought that plug-in for the bugs. never said I had a three hour conversation with the owners. I said I had a conversation with the owners.When we spoke and asked how everything was going, you were fine with everything All you needed to do was come and talk with me but when we spoke, you were fine and now that you’re right in a review, you want something every year when you come you always tell me that you have issues going on and I understand life happens I couldn’t move you, but I had full houses. I had no other rooms otherwise I would’ve moved you. You were upset that your credit card declined and you had to put it on a different credit card. again, I apologize for the fish smell. I did the best that I could do to Deep clean that room for you I asked numerous times how I could help and you told me not to worry about it
