The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Also the surrounding area was very easy to access and in a short walking distance. The room was small, but clean. Definitely worth and honestly better that what I paid for.

Horrible.
Ive been to many hotels and motels, but never have I had such a horrible experience as this. The staff were rude, ans Dour rooms werent prepared in advance. It was requested that the rooms would be next to each other because it was for a family trip, and they gave us two rooms extremely far from each other. When you walk in the motel you immediately smell Marijuana. Rooms are fine, but had a bad experience with one of the staff members. They were very uncooperative, and unwilling to work with us. It was extremely noisy with families arguing, and was unable to sleep well. Overall do NOT reccomend.

This place is a slum. It smells like urine, the rooms were filthy. I had to go to Walmart to buy towels because there were none in the bathroom, I went to the front desk to ask for towels and was greeted with an attitude and was told they didn’t have any towels at the moment, some would be brought to my room when they had them. I’ve stayed here 4 times each time worse than the last.

Every hallway reeked of cigarette smoke, including all of the stairwells the bed was nothing more than a fancy cot . We are given three towels the size of a hand towel. There was nothing in the room on the walls with a wonderful view of the dumpster.

The whole building including our room smelled like smoke. The room was okay but looked like it was in rough shape. Paint job in bathroom was really bad. Looked like someone just rolled the wall with paint not caring that there was a baseboard molding on bottom, half rolling onto this. Drain flys in bathroom. Staff was nice but as we turned the corner was swearing at someone on the phone sounding very aggressive.

So the stay started off rough, neither our room or my moms had a working phone. My room was mssing a light, the tv didn't work. The front desk employee had to get an okay from the manager to move our room to one with everthing working. Much better but my moms phone still didn't work.

Worst experience ever
To start when we pulled up it was a bit shady going into the filthy lobby was another experience while the manager and her coworker were talking amongst each other and using foul language which I was beside myself we get up to our room which the Halls were disgusting kids and families playing in the Halls garbage outside the doors but we couldn't get in our room so I called on my cell phone downstairs and she refused to come up and help fortunately another guest helped us get into our room however the beds had springs coming out lopsided the room was atrocious no screens on the windows bugs stuck to the ceiling of the bathroom lights not working phone have no cord it was just disgusting the most important part of a hotel stay is the bed and they refuse to switch our room I told staff we wanted to leave at night early I had a wedding to go to so I had to stay for at least the two nights and the manager behind the desk said well what's the big deal you only have been spent fu***** 80 plus bucks. Talk about being appalled. I'm in the middle of trying to get the refund as we speak I do not recommend going to the Newport motel 6 to anyone ever!
