Awesome little Boutique Newport hotel. “Curated tapas style” breakfast was as advertised & delicious. We’ll be back to Attwater.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The bathroom needed repairs to the toilet and shower handle (both loose). Breakfast was delicious.

Great stay after Xmas
Great place with modern-beach vibes in a historic building. 1 min walk to Tennis Hall of Fame. The only small negative-too hot at night, had some difficulty regulating room temp.

We liked that it was an easy walk to restaurants, shops, the Cliff Walk and mansions. It is located on a quiet side street and there was parking available. It is clean and thoughtfully decorated. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We booked a cozy looking room that had a fireplace. We arrived early, but were in no rush and were told we would get a text when the room was ready. We did not get a text and had to go back to check. We were told we had been “upgraded” to a queen suite. It was not in the same building and did not have a fireplace. It was comfortable enough, but not what we had booked. Breakfast was a bit strange and not very good, so we did not go the second morning.

Had a lovely time staying her with my daughter! Front desk was very helpful with recommendations ....room was nicely decorated. Was a 10 min walk to the main hub of town. Would stay here again ! Oh and the breakfast buffet was lovely !

Delightfully furnished property. We were upgraded to King Suite...very spacious. Breakfast very nice choices. A 12 minute walk to the waterfront area but there was also shopping and dining right around the corner. Our first visit to Newport. Great experience.

The Attwater was the perfect destination for our weekend getaway. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely welcoming and kind. The property is located in a very walkable area. You can easily get to downtown or the cliff walk within a 15 minute walk.

I loved my stay in the Attwater! Great hotel in Newport in a quiet area. Hotel looked like it just did a brand new renovation, the rooms were exceptionally clean and comfy. The shower was clean and had nice toiletries. I specially loved the breakfast! It was delicious. The manager is selecting its menu personally and carefully changes it often and is able to satisfy any taste. Spinach aragula fritata and the savory scone did hit the spot for me and set for an amazing day in Newport. I saw most of the reviews were great and had about 9 points out of 10, but i was still nicely surprised. The hotel had a breakfast included and a limited parking at no extra coast ( at least we got lucky to get one). I loved everything. Manager lady was super nice and pleasant. I highly recommend to stay in this hotel at any time and hopefully with return myself!
