Very nice place to stay

Pour : Randy and Lisa, who operate the property, are ideal hosts. The breakfasts are gourmet quality. The bed was very comfortable. Free parking.
Contre : I wouldn't have changed a thing.
Emplacement : The Inn is 1-2 miles from the historic mansions and a mile from the heart of downtown Newport, but there are many restaurants within an easy walk.
This is a cross between a hotel, a bed and breakfast, and an Airbnb. The room had a modern feel with a King-sized bed and a modern private bathroom with a shower stall - like a contemporary hotel. There is no front desk - similar to an Airbnb - although Randy and Lisa, the gracious and friendly hosts, were available whenever we needed them. Each morning, we were greeted with a wonderfully prepared breakfast of much higher quality than your typical hotel - what one would expect from a B&B.

Emplacement : At the end of Thames Street, great restaurants and entertainment were close nearby. We had two terrific meals and enjoyed hot chocolate at the movies.
We needed a break from holiday craziness and the Firehouse was perfect. Randy was a great host as well as a pretty fair cook. The weather was bitter cold and the warmth of the converted firehouse was perfect.
