We loved our stay. Although it's in the middle of what's probably one of the busiest & areas in Newport, the location was great for us. We could walk to lots of the sites & restaurants. For the mansions & cliff walk we took the free trolley that's main hub is in walking distance of the Inn. The trolley goes to lots of the points of interest in town. Staff was great. Room had everything we needed. The rooftop deck is great to sit (possible with an adult beverage) & watch the harbor, boats, sunset ,etc. The only negative is for 1st time visitors like us, it's a little confusing to find the entrance. I'd recommend calling ahead of time for directions before arrival.

Peaceful amazing respite
Our suite was perfect for our needs. The view was spectacular and the roof deck was a surprise gem. The Wyndham staff were so friendly and accommodating and had fun activities. The pool was relaxing. I was there dealing with an unexpected emergency and Peter, the host, went way above and beyond to handle every detail and ease my stress level.

Great Spot in the Middle of Newport
Really great place to stay. It's right in the middle of Newport and you have incredibly quick access to almost anything within reasonable walking distance. The benefit of being able to park right there without having to pay insane prices is worth it on its own. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only criticism is possibly the layout of the room. The bed is positioned right by the door instead of being on the interior of the room closer to the window. The standard living room furniture is in that spot instead. I'd really like to see the two setups swapped so the bed is near the window and near the air conditioner, especially during the summer time. That would really make the room perfect and allow for a little more peace since it would be away from the door. Overall we're very happy with our stay and we'd be happy to come back again.
