Superb location, room could use slight improvements

Room could use some improvements: cheap, paper thin toilet paper is unappealing, cheap paper towels, carafe in coffee machine is the wrong size for the machine, it must have been replaced at some point. Bed was great, storage was great, kitchenette was great.

Another fun stay in Newport
Publié le 5 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayLove Newport ! Inn on the Harbor is a place we frequently stay. Perfect location in the middle of everything. The only rub is the sparse(but free) parking.

Great location
Publié le 10 août 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat location on the water. Clean and comfortable with a great little kitchenette. Staff was nice but there was a snafu with the booking. We had to move out of the room we were in on the last night of the stay(not how I booked it through VRBO). That was kind of a hassle because we had to stick around until the other room was available to move into. The timing was hard as we had to hustle to vacate the room when they finally called us that the new room was ready. At that point they became a bit pushy. Kind of a clunky process. That being said, we were happy with the stay and would stay again if coming to Newport.

Hi Andrea,
I was glad to hear that much was very pleasing to you. I never had them tell one of my guests that they had to change rooms. I called to find out what happened but got a story that seemed more like a cover up. I am sorry that happened to you. If you do come up again, remind of this and I will knock a hundred dollars off your next booking with me.
