Charmante maisonnette à Newquay
Publié le 13 août 2016 sur HomeAwayLa maison correspond tout à fait aux descriptions et aux photos : confortable, bien équipée, une vraie chambre séparée, une cour commune calme et très proche de belles plages et de la ville. Newquay est une belle station balnéaire avec de nombreuses grandes plages, idéal pour se baigner, s'initier au surf... A bientôt sûrement.

Great cottage!
Publié le 6 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayQuiet, rural, peaceful cottage. Very cozy for my wife and me, who are traveling from the United States. Hosts were very responsive to our questions. The only thing we would have liked to know in advance is that we needed to supply our own laundry detergent and our own additional rolls of toilet paper, as there was only one roll.

Wonderful holiday home
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a wonderful time in this very cozy and practical holiday apartment, which is equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay in Cornwall. The arrival and communication with Ian were very straightforward and pleasant. We can wholeheartedly recommend the apartment and would return anytime. It's really ideal for two people – for four, it might be a bit too small in our opinion. For German travelers: The duvet is typically English, meaning it is one large duvet for the entire bed – if you prefer to sleep with separate duvets as a couple, you should bring your own.

January Get-Away..

Had a lovely couple of days stay and excellent local dog walking and Beach a short walk too.
Cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Well positioned for local coastal adventuring.
Would recommend arriving in day light as the car park is not lit and access for unloading everything was not that straightforward!
Otherwise a great stay.

Lovely Location
Publié le 31 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayGood location both rural, plus close to Porth beach and my relations. However, the accommodation was very poor. Grubby, tired and shabby. An armchair I needed to cover with my dressing gown, not fit to sit on, corroded hot plates etc etc etc. I have photos to evidence my comments.
Saving grace, effective storage heaters!

Oh no, Elaine we are sorry to hear you didn’t like some aspects of our cottage. We think our near 200 year old property offers great value for money. I was very surprised to hear what you said as I had been there on the day the cottage was prepared for you ready for you to arrive later that same day. I know it was in pretty good state having been cleaned very well by our lovely cleaner who puts a lot of time and effort into making sure it’s nice for guests. Cleanliness is of course subjective and if you dig around hard enough no doubt you’ll always find something but seeing as there are over 70 genuine reviews on here and so far only yours has rated us as poor it all seems a bit odd. The vast majority we’re happy to say have given us a smiley face emoji and/or praise for the cottage's cleanliness. I wonder if you were trying too hard to find fault rather than enjoying your 9 day value for money holiday. I’m surprised during your stay you never once contacted us about it so we could take action if there was something wrong. We don’t claim to be top of the range but our customers usually rate us highly.
