Fastantic week in Cornwall
Publié le 8 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe property was as described in the advert. It was large and clean with everything we needed for our stay. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment for us to all eat in and we used the dishwasher so no arguing over who was washing up. There are clothes washing facilities opposite which we didn’t need to use, the towel rails in the bathrooms were great for drying off swimwear and towels ready for the next day.
The site facilities were great, we made use of both pools and the gym. We had dinner at the pub on site on the last night, the menu is limited and drinks quite expensive. The breakfast baps at the cafe are nice.
Newquay is around a 15 minute drive, we went there most days but also found lots of other activities to do….. footgolf, horse riding, aqua park, surfing, paddle boarding.
The communication with Om was great throughout, we didn’t need to contact him during our stay but I am confident he would have been on hand to sort any issues promptly.

St Enoder Holiday
Publié le 16 sept. 2020 sur HomeAwayAccommodation was brilliant, clean, spacious and accurate. Property owner was quick to answer any queries we had and also honest and welcoming.
Location is great and peaceful and not far from any areas you wish to visit.
We stayed in the larger bedroom, bed was comfy and spacious enough as my husband is tall so we struggle to find areas for him to fit. The family bathroom - bath was also a big bonus as not many places offer a bath with jets!
All in all, a fantastic holiday and we look forward to attending again in the future!

7 day family holiday
Publié le 24 juill. 2019 sur HomeAwayNice and clean with plenty of room. Onsite staff were very helpful and the site had good amenities for families with children. Location was good about 15 minute drive to Newquay and Watergate bay beaches.
We had a great holiday with our children and grandparents

Publié le 9 avr. 2018 sur HomeAway1. Radiators are on only between 11 p.m and 6:30 a.m because of economy 7 setup and we were left in cold until additional electric heaters were brought in after couple of calls to the reception.
2. The electric stove almost takes at least an hour before it gets hot, so forget about cooking.
3. Not enough toilet tissues and no proper toilet mats as well.
4. No WiFi, you need to be in the reception to get the WiFi.
5. I'm still to get my deposit back, delay from the owners direct team it seems.
So overall, I would look for better accommodation next time.
6. One of the bed had a dip, unable to sleep and created back pain.

Dear Mr Purushothaman,
It is disappointing to receive such a negative feedback after the numerous communications via phone and email were exchanged at all hours to entertain your complaints and requests even before your holiday started.
However, I am happy to address the issues you raise in turn:
1/. It is made clear on our adverts that you may be in a property which operates on Economy 7 Night Storage heaters. Furthermore, the pre-arrival email sent to you explained the operation of the heating and hot water system to obtain maximum benefit/comfort for your stay.
2/. This being a rural location, there is no gas on site. All appliances run on electric and electric cookers do need some getting used to especially for those used to gas. That said, most people are aware of this and happily make the necessary adjustments.
3/. I will ascertain this with the site changeover team but if you had contacted me on my personal mobile number during your stay I would have happily resolved this for you.
4/. It is explicitly stated in our adverts that free WiFi is only available in the Main Reception area and not in each lodge.
5/. Strangely, as early as the day of departure on 4th April you demanded return of your Security Deposit. As an exception, I made an early request for HomeAway to make a full refund of your Security Deposit. This normally takes upto 2 weeks. Indeed, after further complaints from you, I investigated and confirmed on 6th April that your SD had been actioned by HA and believed that would suffice. After further emails from you I found and emailed you a statement copy from HomeAway on 9th April confirming that the payment had been made.
6/. All the beds/mattresses/headboards have been replaced with brand new in March 2018 for the enjoyment and well being of our guests.
In fact your group were the first to use these beds so it is alarming that you should have had any bad experiences. Please let me know specifically which bed you refer to and I will get it inspected and replaced as a matter of urgency. It's a great pity you didn't think to contact me during your stay so I could have actioned this appropriately and avoided your discomfort.
