The location is brilliant, the decor is lovely, the bed was comfortable. The menu was limited, the service was slow, the food was lukewarm. The afternoon tea was too expensive and did not offer value for money.

Amazing

This was the second time we have been here and would definitely return.
Food lovely and sitting on the terrace with a drink is nice.
Staff are lovely and friendly.
It was also lovely to see the management hands on and thanking there staff for coming in early to help which I over heard and thought it was nice to hear.
All in all a pleasant stay.

Hôtel is in a beautiful position and well appointed..service tended to be slow, except at breakfast when Sheila was on duty.

Great hotel based in beautiful Dartmoor countrysid

Overall our stay was good. The evening menu was limited and the breakfast menu wasn’t accurate. Eg kippers and eggs was actually kipper and egg. Evening meal fish and chips came served covered in rock salt and had to be sent back.

The staff are extremely helpful and the property itself is located in a beautiful location with stunning facilities. The rooms are a little small but very clean and with all the necessities you need available. All in all an excellent venue and well worth a visit.

Poor service. Staff unhelpful. Noisy. Aircon units on the kitchen roof were humming and throbbing all night outside bedroom window. Not even toilet roll in the en suite.
