Only thing we think needs looking at is the comfort of the sofa bed. It’s incredibly uncomfortable and had to take extra bedding to make it a little better.

The hotel is in a great location in NOTL. Close to things but far enough away that you can avoid all the crowds when the festival is on. The staff are very friendly and address any issues immediately. The hotel is small and comfortable. I'm a repeat customer and really enjoy being able to stay here!

This is the second time we have stayed here. The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean but older and the breakfast is adequate to good if you are lucky enough to hit a day there are warm croissants out of the oven. Downtown NOTL is a little too far to walk comfortably but very close by car. Overall I would give a 3.5 rating because the beds were double and we were not able to get a shuttle at dinner because it is shared with other hotels. We were not as happy with our stay this time and likely won’t return next year for our annual sister get away.

A Shaw Rah Rah!
We have stayed in Niagara on the Lake a number of times, but this was our first stay at the Colonel Butler Inn. We were pleasantly surprised and will return on our next theatre jaunt. The front desk was extremely friendly and our room was spacious and clean.

Very clean. Room modern , bathroom appeared newly refurbished. Continental breakfast , plenty of options. Walking distance to small street of pretty shops and to the lake in about 20 mins. Plenty of parking at the shopping area - pay. Ate at the Irish bar and also the angel inn - both recommended. Easy drive to the falls along the coast road . Plenty of parking options at the falls.
