Close to the trees

Great property excellent views horrible drive

BIG issue though… the Drive between Lucas Valley Rd and property was treacherous and basically horrible; enough to make me dread basic comings and goings. Ambient noise from owner/dogs above was unpleasant and unexpected the first night so I requested a fan for white noise which pretty much remedied that issue. Other than those things, the unit is really nice and super cute. View spectacular and hot tub great. Others may not mind the drive but it is a total deal breaker for me.

Beautiful secluded stay
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay here on a family vacation. It was quiet, well maintained, and we especially loved the hot tub! Elizabeth was quick with communication and provided plenty of information on the area as well. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Beautiful Room in mountains

For us it was a completely disappointing stay
Publié le 13 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThe holiday apartment did not meet our expectations. All in all, the holiday apartment seemed unkempt and unclean to us. We found the furnishings more like youth hostel style. Everything seemed extremely unloving to us. In the room description it was written that there was a balcony or terrace. However, we were given a room without a balcony or terrace. The landlady told us that we should use a small metal table and two chairs in the hallway directly in front of the other holiday apartment. However, we didn't like that. We found it very cold in the room as we couldn't find any heating installed. We found the beds to be clammy and damp. Directly behind the bed there was a room in which all sorts of stuff was thrown in. We had the feeling that a musty smell was wafting into the room from this chamber. We had to leave after two nights because we couldn't take it anymore. We didn't get any money refunded upon request. We cannot recommend this accommodation more highly.

VRBO is looking to remove Sven's comments.
Sven wanted money from us or would write a poor review. Almost everything he wrote is untrue.
The unit: 1. has heat, 2. there's no room behind it 3. There's a very spacious deck area that they could use with the sauna, hot tub, etc. 4. they wanted the other unit we have because it has a large private deck, we said it was not possible. 5. This is not an apartment. No one has ever written a review like Sven.
