A great stay in Villa Mimosa
Posted Oct. 17, 2024 on HomeAwayThere is a reason there are so many five star reviews for Villa Mimosa—because they are well deserved. The owners and the local contact were very nice and accommodating. From restaurant recommendations to answering questions, they are very responsive. The location is great, a 20 minute walk or a few minute drive from St. Paul de Vence. Grocery store is very close. Villa is about 15 minutes from the airport.
The villa is nicely furnished and very comfortable. It has a large outside patio with a great view. The photos are pretty accurate but it is nicer than they depict. It has a washer and dryer (although dryer is a condenser dryer so can be a little slow). It is very quiet. After a week stay, my wife and would not hesitate to return to Villa Mimosa, it is a lovely place.

Beautiful spot and so many home comforts

Beds are so comfortable and we loved the fact that there are kitchen staples you can use and then add to. True hospitality. The pool was a great asset as it was very hot during our stay. We hired a car and so we’re able to drive to the village to go to one of the mss as my lovely restaurants. Defo recommend car hire - we had hoped to use public transport as we usually fo but this would have been difficult. So close to Nice airport too.

Beautiful apartment and location - make sure you read the fine print
Posted Sep. 5, 2023 on HomeAwayThis is a lovely and very well appointed apartment with access to a pool, a beautiful view and a great spot for enjoying all this stunning region has to offer.
There is very long and detailed instructions for everything which I am sure appeals to some but I will admit that I lost interest after about 4 paragraphs of the many instructions. As a result I didn't remove the small bag of garbage under the sink so we were hit with further charges. We did otherwise leave the apartment perfectly clean and tidy so that was a pretty disappointing ending. I do find that there is always a decent cleaning fee added to bookings this practice pretty irritating but I guess that's why you check the fine print.

I’m glad you enjoyed the villa Christopher and am so sorry the small fee for extra cleaning caused disappointment.
We put so much care and attention into preparing for our guests and only ask for the linens to be taken off beds, the dishwasher done and bins emptied, which is a great help and much appreciated. None of these were done so I was sure you would understand my passing on the small fee as stated in the check out instructions.
We do ask guests to read the information pack about the villa which has avoided any issue like this arising before.
I am so happy you enjoyed the apartment, the views and exploring the area and you will always be welcome to return to Villa Mimosa any time.

Wonderful home with great views!
Posted Jun. 14, 2023 on HomeAwayMy first impression was that if I were to buy a home in the Cote D'Azur, this would be it! Everything about it was lovely: the inside decor which was very comfy and stylish, too. The living room was very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. The views were incredible: distant view of the ocean and hills. There was a washer and dryer, dishwasher, heated bathroom floors, etc. The owner was very responsive and welcoming. I highly recommend this home.

Exceeded our expectations

Fabulous views and everything you could want in a vacation property!
Posted Sep. 30, 2019 on HomeAwayThe listing on Vrbo accurately described the villa. We loved the views and the reference book completed by Claire was so helpful. The outdoors seating was great and the place had everything that you need. The parking space is tight, as mentioned in the listing but we managed to fit a Peugeot station wagon in to the spot. Mini vans probably wouldn’t fit but other spots are available. Definitely would stay here again.
