Thank you David for your review, I’m so sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay. I will take this opportunity to put some clarity around your points of concern. The first sentences on our listing clearly state that this is one of two, beach front villas, that they are steps apart (approximately 50 feet). We clearly detail the shared and not shared areas and that it is a very private property with plenty of common and private areas to accommodate all preferences. The SeaGlass Villa’s are located on a large beach front property, on a point, with no Neighbors north or south. It is pure beach on either side, I’m not sure how much more private we can be except for when both villas are rented at the same time. Even then, we have never had anyone complain about not enough space or privacy so I am sorry you felt that way. The owner (me) was not on the property during your stay and we are never there when guests are on the property , so I’m not sure who you are referring to . There is only one other villa and our local host Zona who takes care of all of our guests does not live on site. As for the beach and some locals walking on it, no one owns beach, it is there for all to use however because the locals respect us and our privacy you may see the odd local Bahamian walk along the beach with a fishing line trying to catch dinner and that’s about it. David you said a bbq and fins were not available, they are 100% available to all guests, you never asked for these during your stay. Zona puts these away to avoid theft and salt corrosion but makes sure that all guests have all amenities available at all times, that is what we offer and deliver. All amenities are listed on our site and everything is available at all times. We make sure that all amenities are kept in good functioning order. It is unfortunate that you were not satisfied with your stay, we only wish that you would have brought up your concerns to either Zona or myself so that we could have accommodated your requests while you were there.

Regarding the "no-seeums" as they are called, or sand flies, these guys can be tricky. They don't bother me at all and they love my husband so it all depends upon the person. Your specific comments have been addressed below....with regard to restaurants, we will continue to keep our information updated as Covid has made it a bit challenging when documenting all open restaurants. Andros is a sleepy island and hours may vary considerably from day to day. Our best advice is to refer to Zona for the latest and greatest in the area so that he can book ahead for you and you don't ever have to wait a few days to figure things out...that is what we are here for and Zona, your local host is always available at your service!
