Pour : Les chambres sont propres et confortables, un peu sombres, mais l'environnement est très calme et a cour est fermée la nuit
Contre : La piscine est symbolique...
Emplacement : La ville est sans intérêt, mais bien placée pour visiter le parc national Barra Honda
En arrivant à l'hôtel, nous avons d'abord été très inquiets : nous étions les seuls clients, et les propriétaires (qui ne parlent pas d'autre langue que l'espagnol) n'avaient pas l'air bien au courant de notre réservation... Au final, ils se sont avérés bienveillants et sympathiques, mais encore un peu "amateurs".

Simple place but clean with a small pool. Largest towels we’ve ever had and a decent shower. Nice owners. A fine place for a night on the road.

This is not a hotel, it is just a house renting rooms for the night. Wouldn’t go back to this place, I’d rather drive for another hour and stay in a decent place.
I have stayed in other hotels in the area and for the same price one can find many excellent alternatives.

Over priced
Publié le 27 mars 2018 sur ExpediaWe did receive a warm welcome from the hosts, though they were somewhat inflexible during our visit. There is no breakfast or coffee so you do need to hunt around Nicoya first thing in the morning for provisions. The room was very compact, though spotlessly clean except for an invasion if fire ants, which came in from outside. The hot water is frim a suicide shiwerhead which had some issues during our stay. Overall, over priced for what it is.

Contre : The size of the room.
A room with 2 queens beds (4 persons maximum) does not have space for more than 2 luggages.
Nice hotel with friendly owners.
The rooms are clean and everything seem new. Beds are comfortable.
Even if the breakfast is not included, the owners are very attentive and offer some snacks (juice, fruits, biscuits, etc...). If your rooms are located in the back side, be careful about the mosquitoes. Close the doors as soon as you enter or leave the room.
What need to be improved : The size of the room.
