Nice Boutique Hotel for a stay in central Nijmegen

Design Hotel with amazing features and a lot of stairs. Check in is done at sister hotel Blue as well as a champagne breakfast buffet. Wonderful atmosphere access to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Easy walk from the train station for us. Can't wait to return. The staff was amazing and made you feel welcomed. Thanks for a lovely weekend away. Only negatives were some of the room designs. There is limited space in the bathroom sink for things. The bathtub is in the room so the splash zone and border is next to the bed. Don't trip into bed. But loved the bed very comfortable.

Quick walk from train station. Great breakfast buffet. Lots of restaurants nearby. Ten minute walk to old town.

Amazing staff! Very welcoming property, with all the comforts you would expect at home. Our room was very modern, yet personable - with an air conditioning that actually did air conditioning things! Again, the staf was amazing, attentive, and accomodating to our needs and requests! Highly recommend Manna to others. We will definitely stay there again when we travel to Nijmegen.

A lovely grand hotel with major challenges.

Hotel Manna is two hotels in one. The two hotels are separated by office buildings in the middle. However, you check in at a part of the hotel that you do not stay at - at least we did not. The two hotels only have one check-in and one reception. So there is a lot of back-and-forth walking between the two hotels. The Hotel Manna is a beautiful, turn of the century, giant residence converted into a hotel. The room is large, but very small sink that has no real shelves and a toilet is inconveniently and not particularly separated. There is no real working desk. There’s an area back of the television to set up, but it felt very cramped and with a chair that was not really appropriate for business work. Worst of all the fact that we were in the top floor and there were no elevators because it is a historical building. Our luggage was brought up to the top for us but every time we go down and up to five very steep flights of stairs. And since the hotel Manna, unlike its other portion of the Hotel Bleu, has no receptionist We had to bring down the luggage ourselves at check out time. The bar is excellent, and the breakfasts are top-notch. Staff friendly, but sometimes we called and the telephone would just ring and no one would pick up. A mixed bag for sure.

The room was very nice, in the part of the hotel where I was, I have not seen an elevator, I did not ask but if you need it, better ask in advance. It is the type of room that privileges design to confort, in my opinion e.g. coffee machine on a small table. Btw the illy coffe machine was very nice and with free expresso. Breakfast was also very good. My room had a balcony with chairs on the back of the hotel (manna side) but I couldn't access (only a window) and it was not clear if other customers could potentially sit in front of my window. Overall very nice.
