But the dust was thick on many surfaces - the top of the fridge, microwave, skirting boards, power points, venetian blinds, and doorway. Also the TV had no signal much of the time so I was appreciative of a pack of cards and 50 year old National Geographic magazines to pass the time.

Thanks for taking time to do a review Robyn. It's odd how we get 5 stars and 10/10 from guests before you and after you, stating how clean the place was. We've done a spring clean on those hard to see & reach surfaces, easily missed, as the fridge and microwave have to be pulled right out of the enclosing cabinets to see them getting dusty. I also checked the TV reception and ALL channels are working perfectly fine. so not sure why you had issues. I would have appreciated that you followed our instructions which were to contact us on arrival and departure. I sent you a text, but got no response. Communicating to us would have given you the opportunity to let us know about any issues you had and we could have easily solved them. Apart from the 2 packs of playing cards, there was also a bunch of DVDs in the cupboard you could have watched. I would not host or recommend Robyn as a guest to other Hosts because of her lack of communication and not following clear instructions.

STAYZ was a problem
Publié le 23 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayStayz didnt confirm email before taking the booking so I didnt get conformation email. Stayz sent entry code as email not SMS so until I got internet we were locked out

After realising You hadn’t received a confirmation email due to Stayz being given an email address with an error in it. Im glad I could quickly sort it out with them for you. It appears you received all other info once it was sorted out before your stay. Im always just a phone call away if guests have any problems or questions.

Nice and clean with everything plus more then you need.
In a nice quiet street with your own back entrance!
Great place will visit again if in the area 👍

Great Country Getaway
Publié le 30 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayHad a fantastic time despite the weather (43c), the accommodation was clean, tidy and perfect for our needs. Aircon kept up with the heat. All essentials were provided which was fantastic (tp/milk/cooking supplies), Janet was lovely to deal with! Only tip: BRING BUG SPRAY! Thanks Janet!

Peaceful get-away!

No phone reception

Although VODAPHONE does not work in this area, all other services work perfectly fine. the guests called me on their phone whilst at the cabin. So they DID have reception.
As far as keeping insects out The Cabin "IS" fitted with a sliding fly screen on the glass sliding doors entrance and another fly screen on the bathroom window. You simply close the fly screens to keep insects out! so that is a weird comment. My site also clearly states NO WIFI available. You said that it was “very very Rural” YES It is RURAL We are located in The Murray Lands farming RURAL area near the Murray River. 3 people showed up but they booked for two. there was no room for sneaking in an extra guest. so they did not stay and wanted a refund. I would not recommend these people as guests.
