The grounds are nice but the management get the basics all wrong. Firstly, it is very lacking in generosity. The welcome drink is a water in a paper cup - they produce 400,000 bottles of wine a year. Our room had 1 can of water for 2 people. The coffee in the room was Nescafé sachets…in Italy! To make it worse they knew it was our honeymoon and that we had arrived upset because of an airline cancelling our flight. Pretty pathetic.
Our room also stank from the toilet, was dark, and the robes were ridiculously worn and coarse, and one was dirty.
The staff also forgot to follow up on things we asked about, such as the spa.
We shared this disappointment when we left and they the offered us a complimentary wine. They also told us that they don’t treat you as well if you book via Expedia(!). So don’t do that. In fact, don’t book at all

Dear Mr HobbsWe are deeply sorry that your stay at Feudi del Pisciotto did not meet your expectations. Our rooms, as clearly described on the website, are housed in an ancient eighteenth-century Baglio whose restoration was carried out preserving as much as possible the original structure and therefore the charm of a historic rural residence. Therefore, the rooms do not have large windows because the restoration did not allow interventions that would have had a big impact on the building. In any case, during the check-in, we have offered you the opportunity to see the other room categories available which, even if they do not have very large windows, are certainly more spacious than the classic room chosen for your stay. Regarding the welcome we reserve to the honeymooners, it is our habit to provide complimentary sweets and a welcome card in the room: we are really sorry you did not appreciate it. We are also sorry you didn't appreciate even our gesture of giving you as a complimentary the bottle, the sparkling wine you had ordered. About the bathrobe stained, we have checked with the laundry service and found out that the small stains were due to the ironing machine and so we have asked them to fix immediately. Regarding our choice to offer flavored water to welcome customers, using paper cups, it's due to the precise desire to provide a healthy and thirst-quenching drink and to limit the environmental impact by using recyclable materials. Finally, about the booking through Expedia, perhaps our advice to make the reservation using our website has been wrongly interpreted. Having the guests full freedom to choose the booking channel they prefer, our policy is not to compete on the room prices, but to offer more benefits to reward those who choose to have a direct relationship with the hotel. However, we work hard every day to make our customers happy regardless of which booking method they choose. Regarding the information about additional services, as you may have noticed, prices and details about wine tastings, bike rental and wine therapy treatments, are clearly displayed in the reception area and next to the wellness area. In addition, during the check-in tour, we always invite guests to request more information about them or check the availability of the masseuse by asking the front office staff whose aim is to enrich the onsite experience of our beloved guests.I hope that in the next future you will choose to come back to Feudi del Pisciotto to have the opportunity to change your mind and live an experience that meets your expectations. The property was beautiful and a wonderful respite . The staff were extremely accommodating. The wine pairings were wonderful … Will definitely return !

Stilvolle Zimmer in alten Gemäuern
Publié le 8 avr. 2024 sur HotelsSehr schöne und stilvoll gestaltete Zimmer in alten Gemäuern eines noch aktiven Weingutes. Fühlten uns sofort wohl im Zimmer und das Bett war äusserst bequem. Sehr gutes inbegriffenes Frühstück und ich empfehle für das Abendessen auch das hauseigene Restaurant, in welchem die vor Ort produzierten Weine als Begleitung zur servierten Gourmet Küche probiert werden können. Der Service war im Restaurant wie auch im Hotel sehr herzlich und auf gutem Niveau. Die entspannteste und genussvollste Nacht unserer Sizilienreise!
