The cottage was very clean and the garden very nice. Too bad that it is located so close to the highway and very loud. I also wish I had been notified in advance that the landlord would not have time to make breakfast as I would have made other arrangements. We had chosen this guesthouse because of the possibility to have breakfast. If we had known this, we would have stayed somewhere else. There is also Wifi but just in the main building, not in the cottages.

We are very sorry that you were inconvenienced regarding breakfast- I do hope you could find somewhere else to assist.
We try to do breakfasts on demand although all our cottages are equipped for self catering, but unfortunately this particular Sunday I had a prior arrangement that I was unable to cancel, and being a small business, breakfast is done by me and no one else.
With regard to the road, the repairs to the bridge will be done soon which will certainly be a relief, as the trucks do not slow down for the speed bumps and make quite a noise.
My sincere apologies once again.

Self catering accommodation near Kruger Park

We were visiting The Kruger national park. The Crocodile Bridge gate is about 14km from Orchards farm.
We prefer self catering accommodation and the units are very well equipped and comfortable.
Units are in good condition and very clean.

Publié le 22 août 2015 sur HotelsThe cottages are large and well appointed. Meals are available as well as a bar at the reception but the rooms provide for self catering. Ideal for a long or short stay depending on your circumstances.
Most of the cottages have very good views and plenty of cool shade is available from numerous large trees in the garden.

Comfortable
Publié le 12 août 2015 sur HotelsI had a one-night stayover at Orchards Farm Cottages on my way to Kruger National Park. The cottage was comfortable and clean and good value for money. Its also situated in a lovely garden and in summer the air-conditioning and fan would be a great help. I'd happily stay here again.
