We received a ton of helpful information about the house and Aruba from the owners before we even left. Check in was easy - Daniel the property manager was prompt and attentive and incredibly helpful. He sat with us at check in and gave lots of local recommendations for food and activities that all were spot on! The house was spotless, well appointed and everything worked. Location is perfect and Ting Wei - the local grocery had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great vacation!!

Phenomenal House and Amenities - Highly Recommend
Publié le 22 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe house is exactly as advertised. The owner was responsive to anything we needed (which wasn’t much). The place was stocked with great beach towels, and plenty of them. Numerous beach chairs that were good quality and easy to carry. Pool setup was top notch and included rafts, fins, and snorkel equipment. Chairs around pool were comfortable and of nice quality. Outside table was large enough for the 8 of us to eat and play games. The hammock was a real hit with the whole family (ages 11 to 75). Beds were comfortable and pillows were plentiful. Less than a 7 minute drive to multiple beaches (including Palm and Eagle). You should rent a car if you stay here as parking is easy around Aruba and at this house. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed, though the grocery stores around the house were a lot (a lot!) more expensive than the ones near airport and town. Ice maker in freezer was robust and a travel beach cooler was even provided in the house.

Fantastic Family Vacation
Publié le 13 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis was our 4th vacation to Aruba. Villa Carpe Diem was perfect for our family. We have 3 adult children, their spouses and 3 small kids. The host made sure we had 2 high chairs and 2 pack and plays for the 2 little ones.
Move in was smooth, with the key right at the front door and Daniel taking us through the house. Daniel's restaurant recommendations were spot on!
The house allowed us to swim in the pool at all times, walk to the beach (the sign on the street helped point us through the cactus jungle), prepare some meals, enjoy carry out from some great local restaurants and more! The cooler and beach chairs made the short trip to Boca Catalina perfect.
Without question, all our expectations were exceeded.
Jose & Rixt's properties will certainly be high on our list for future trips to Aruba!

Perfect home

The hosts (Jose and Rixt) got right back to me whenever I had a question, no matter how small the question they answered it right away. The location perfect. At the end of the road is a path that takes you right out to the beach by the Ritz. 5 minute walk. The home has beach chairs, cooler and beach towels. The house was the perfect size for all of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The pool area was beautiful and great size for us. There is a laundry room and an outside shower to wash the sand off after a day at the beach. Daniel the property manager was incredibly sweet and very helpful. We were so sad to leave. I definitely recommend this home for your family. You won't be disappointed. Thank you so much for your hospitality and we will see you again!!!
