Rui was amazing with the check in, providing tons of information on the area including hiking spots that we were interested in. There was fresh bread and Dona Amelias (homemade) awaiting us. Both were amazing. The place is simple, cute and clean. We were ready for peace and quiet and that is what we got. I loved starting each day and ending each day staring out that big window at the landscape and the sea. We did not cook, so I cannot comment on the kitchen but it seemed stocked. We did appreciate the washing machine as we were on a long trip. Everything was as advertised. If we make it back to Sao Miguel we will definitely come back here again.
