The hotel staff was great, but also everything in their little shop was expired. Really disappointing, the sheets had a musty itchy smell and never once saw room service. But other than that fantastic hotel

Cleanliness
Posted Oct. 20, 2024 on HotelsThe cleanliness of our room was unacceptable. It was room #120. There are stains all over the carpet and the bathroom smelled like urine. Also, our cards to our room kept malfunctioning for whatever reason.

This was our 3rd stay since September 2023. Excellent, comfortable, convenient hotel. What stands out is the staff! Front desk and restaurant staff specifically. Well Managed by a fine young man named Tim who has been there x7 years... We look forwarded to returning hopefully in February...

I was disappointed in the quality of service at this location. Our heat/air unit in room wasn’t working properly. Fan would run but the unit itself never kicked on. Noticed this upon arrival. Called front desk. The 2 ladies checking people in came up. They realized wall thermostat was broken but told me you can control the temp from the unit. I was told to give it time to cool the room down. I knew that wasn’t going to happen and It never did. I knew they were booked full so I didn’t ask to be moved. They didn’t offer to move me or provide a fan. I was so disappointed in the customer service here and the lack of professionalism. I’ve stayed at many Hampton Inns. I expected more from the property than what I received. They did have adequate, safe parking. It was a convenient location to our attractions we were visiting in the area.

Property is old and dated and needs refurbishing! Handicap room had a tub rather than walk in shower; controls on tub were difficult to use; no cookies in lobby at 5 pm; coffee in lobby luke warm. Overall property not up to Hampton standards.

Good stay, but hot tub not working
Posted Oct. 16, 2024 on HotelsIt was quite clean . Could use some updating, though, especially carpeting and heavy drapes in rooms. We were looking forward to the hot tub and extremely disappointed to discover it wasn’t working. We should have at least been informed at check-in, as we found out that it had not been working for a while.
