Family Reunion
Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayI rented the house so my sisters and brother had a place to stay while in town. I also stayed there. We were all impressed with the beautiful Victorian house. It was clean and comfortable. We all wished there was some information on the history of this beautiful home. We would stay again.

Publié le 16 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was an amazing house, full of history, huge, and met all of our needs. We wish there was a written history of the place.
On the downside, it was in serious need of thorough cleaning...inside and out. The grounds could have been enjoyed if the grass was cut. For some reason there had been no housekeeping when we arrived but the property manager and her host of friends came to the rescue as soon as they were made aware. They were wonderful and fun to talk to. It was only basic cleaning but that was understandable. Clearly it has needed a cleaning service for quite some time, but we are flexible and it added to the whole experience.
We really loved the house despite these things. It has so much potential. We spent hours conjuring up stories of it's history!
Area highlights: the quilt shop, the McPhearson (?) cemetery, and the 2 local wineries. It was a memorable trip for us all and a perfect location between Omaha & Denver.
