I highly suggest stocking up on food. There is no food delivery in the area for days when you want to do nothing.

Hi Karen thank you again for staying at my lake home and thank you for leaving the home in such nice shape.
Good suggestion on food, There are plenty nof restaurants on the lake near by within a 10/15 minute drive but good to know they do not deliver, I have never tried.

Housekeeping
Publié le 7 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayNeed a new housekeeper. There was coffee left in coffee pot. Floors dirty. When we walked around our feet were black. Found multiple screws in driveway. Guessing from contractor. Needs better air conditioning. Owner did reply promptly and had supplies delivered. Great views.

I am sorry you were not completely satisfied with your stay. thank you for letting me know your concerns. Pleasing my guests is my priority and I have worked hard to try and cater to everyones needs so far so will take this all into consideration going forward. I have been getting a lot of renovations done between guests over past weeks and I had contractors there the entire week before who must have been inside and used the coffee maker without my knowledge and was overlooked. As well as screws in driveway that I will address with them. Central air conditioning instead of the window units is my priority for 2025 after the deck gets completed and other major renovations. I am mid completion of deck, new tiled shower recently done and garage frontage....hence screws in driveway. I will make sure in future your concerns are addressed. thank you for booking my vacation home

Second stay
Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved this house so much when we came in 2021 that my daughter wanted to come back again. Our stay was just as wonderful this time. The location is perfect, the view is beautiful, the house has plenty of room and there’s so much to do there in the water and inside. Such a great owner too. We’ll be back again.

Wonderful vacation stay
Publié le 22 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayMy biggest complaint is that we only stayed 4 nights! I would have loved to spend one week or two to fully enjoy this beautiful property.
That said, everything was so nice at this property. So much space for all of us to spread out. (3 couples plus one adult) we loved hanging out on the deck when it wasn’t raining!
One note to others, big outdoor staircase to get down to house, and a long hilly walk outdoors to dock area. The furnishings are lovely and so comfy!
Sally was easy to communicate with. Would love to stay again!

First Time at Sodus Bay
Publié le 19 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThis was the first time for our family at Sodus Bay and everything met our expectations. The house was neat and well decorated, exactly as advertised and had all the amenities that we needed for two adults and six teenagers. The kids enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks and fishing off the dock during the day and shooting pool and playing board games in the lower level during the evenings. This was perfect as it allowed the adults some quiet time on the deck with an adult beverage. Everything you need for day to day is very close but if you do venture out the vineyards around the northern end of Seneca Lake are only about 45 minutes away and Niagara Falls was two hours making for a fun day trip. Add in the golf course 5 minutes from the house and we had all we could need. The property owner was very responsive and kind and kept us up to date and checked in on us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.

Beautiful spot on the Bay
Publié le 15 juin 2023 sur HomeAwayWonderful location. Quiet street. What a view of the Water! We enjoyed 3 nights during the PGA Championship. Owner was a real Joy to work with. We could tell that she enjoys sharing her property with her guests. Comfortable beds, great kitchen, awesome deck and views. What more could we ask for! Loved it.
