Kitchen has new stainless appliances, KitchenAid side by side refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, kettle, cutlery, cookware, dishware and utensils.

Choice of Dining either inside at table or outside on the screened in lanai.

Living room has new 55" HD Smart flat screen TV with Netflix, Hulu, Apple compatibility for entertainment.

High-speed wireless internet

Master bedroom has a new king bed, linens and towels, 55" smart flat screen tv, ceiling fan, en-suite bathroom, closet and sliding glass doors that open onto the screened in lanai with ocean views.

Guest bedroom with 2 new Queen beds, linens, towels, ceiling fan and closet.

Condo sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably.

We just returned from seven perfect days at the Retreat 17. Stephanie is a gracious host and she responded quickly to any questions both before and during our stay. The condo is fully stocked with everything you need. This was our 5th visit to Grand Cayman. We absolutely love Rum Point and will definitely be back to Stephanie’s condo.

Absolutely Amazing
We were VERY pleased with our stay at the condo! It was roomy for four people. Plenty of space to eat and relax. I loved the huge screened in lanai (patio). The vegetation in the back area created a feeling of privacy. We only saw one person walk by our patio the whole week we were there. We love to cook and were happy to find that the kitchen was very well stocked, including high quality cookware and lots of containers for leftovers. We were happy with everything about the kitchen! Very organized too! There were also lots of beach items stocked as well, such as floats, bags, chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc. We had plenty to use. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. I slept like a baby there. There were no complaints from anyone about the bedding, or anything at all for that matter. The location was perfect for our family. We decided on Rum Point over 7 mile beach because we heard it was quieter, and indeed it was! Every morning we took an early morning walk and we were the only ones out there. There was never any loud music or loud people. There seems to be a lot more wildlife over there to enjoy. Hermit crabs, land crabs, small fish at the shore, conchs, snails. You do have to know that there are limited restaurants on that side of the island, but it worked for us because we either cooked in the condo our ate out while we were exploring other parts of the island. The host was AMAZING! Super kind, prompt, and helpful. We most definitely will be returning!

WONDERFUL
We love coming to the Caymans and staying on the north side, it is always so relaxing and the clear blue waters are amazing. I was delighted to come across this perfect place! The condo is absolutely lovely! Quite spacious, equipped with lots of amenities, very clean and quiet. Just a few steps to a private beach, along with Rum Point and Red Sail sports:. Local coffee at Kaibo and Starfish point are minutes away…it was simply perfect. And I cannot say enough about the owner. She was beyond kind and helpful - and great with communication and details. She made our trip stress and worry free. We will definitely be back and always choose to stay here (if available).

The unit is clean, well stocked with the appropriate dishes/glasses/pots and pans and a nice assortment of spices etc. Plenty of pool and ocean water toys also in the unit. My wife and I stayed in the gorgeous two-bedroom condo for 10 days and had a great experience. The unit was well stocked with every conceivable item a vacationing family could ask for or require. We felt safe and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, prepared and organized - it even had two coffee machines (drip and Keurig)! Ample beach towels and bathroom supplies. The Queen bed and pair of twin beds were comfortable. For families with young children there were floating devices. The beach is a short 30 second walk within the complex and has many chairs and chaise lounges, in the sun or in the shade of palm trees. The beach is well kept and the clear, warm water is easy to walk into unlike other North Side beaches. A small bit of corral is 15 yards/meters off the beach and another larger accessible corral patch (visited by excursion boats) is 100 yards off the beach. We saw many stingrays, large sea turtles and a near-infinite number of tropical fish - all of which are not threatening to snorkelers like us. If you have an underwater camera you will have a memorable set of pictures from the various sea life. The owner/host was in frequent contact before and during our entire stay always willing to handle issues (none) or even shop for us (not needed). This first-floor unit is ideal and I can't wait to rent it again.

By far the best experience we have ever had renting a condo! Stephanie was very attentive and responded promptly to any questions we had prior to the stay and during the stay. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We couldn’t believe how well stocked the condo was with beach towels, chairs, board games, puzzles, books, dishes, pots and pans, etc. It definetly felt like a home away from home! The private beach was nice and quiet. No crowds and everyone was super friendly! Will definetly book again.

We arrived late Saturday evening to our condo. We passed the entrance and were having a hard time knowing where the exact location was. I contacted Stephanie and she was extremely quick to respond and even came over to check on us. She has been very quick to respond on all my questions. The condo is well stocked with beach towels, lots of sunscreen and bug spray (so don’t buy any) some basic condiments and seasonings and lots of skillets and cook wear. It has a drip and single cup type of coffee pot as well as a couple of blenders. If you need feminine products there were even a few of those as well as toilet paper and paper towels. It truly was extremely well stocked. There is a soft sided and hard sided cooler if you are planning a fishing trip and a beach bag for towels. The condo was very clean and has a screened in porch area to enjoy your mornings and evenings. It is in walking distance to Rum Point bar and grill( we found the food there just so so) and Kaibo(good place for a nice dinner). Some of the best snorkeling was right here where we stayed. Catch a trip out to Sting Ray City right here as well. There is a King bed and two full beds and one of the couches makes out to a bed as well. This was perfect for us so each of my grown children could have their own bed. This is a ground floor unit which I prefer and a very short walk out to the beach to watch the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The sunsets get more stunning after the sun goes down. Quieter side of Island.

If you are looking to avoid the crowds and endless resorts of seven mile beach than this is the spot. We toured the entire island and think Rum Point is probably the perfect mix of Cayman sea, sand and unique attractions (bioluminescent bay, stingray sandbar, crystal caves, botanical gardens) without being overwhelmed with daily cruise passengers. There is just enough hustle and bustle next door at the Rum Point Bar and Restaurant when you need it. The condo is ideally located right on the point itself, within incredible snorkeling right off shore. If you are a confident swimmer and its not overly windy, you can easily snorkel to the "Coral Gardens" snorkel site that is about 500m out (where all the boats stop). We saw numerous turtles, sting rays, big moray eels, harmless nurse sharks, barracuda, eagle rays, parrot fish and of course a plethora of other tropical fish. The condo is clean, spacious, modern and well appointed. Pretty much has everything you need on hand from beach equipment to food prep. And even some fun stuff/equipment for the kids (5 & 8 year old were with us). Walk-out to beach and the partial ocean view is a bonus. Although there are only 3 nearby restaurants (2 within walking distance), you can easily drive to more on the north and east side within in 15-25 min. Stephanie was a treat to deal with. Very responsive and helpful host. Even came to drop off dishwasher tabs when we couldn't find any. Also offered lots of great tips for the area.
