Family Sleepover
Posted Oct. 5, 2023 on HomeAwayDeck needs to be replaced, very dangerous for older people. The check in was bizarre, met with owner's sister who in great detail explained what should be explained a manual. When you arrive at your vacation location the last thing you want to do is spend 20 minutes going over these things. The location was fabulous but the site is quite musty smelling, furniture and deck should be replaced before it is available for rent again.

Disco room!!!
Posted Jul. 30, 2023 on HomeAwayI was there with various family members ranging from 3 years old to 65 and we all had a great time.
The disco ( more Disney songs than disco ) was a huge hit! And the pool and hot tub were well used!
The kitchen was large and well equipped and lots of seating options indoor and outdoor.
I would definitely book again.

A wonderful time at a wonderful place!
Posted Jul. 19, 2023 on HomeAwayMyself and some friends stayed here for my brothers bachelor party in 2023 and it was a fantastic place for it! The large outdoor space and pool were perfect on a hot summers day and we were super close to many golf courses. The host was friendly and showed us how everything worked in the house when we arrived. I would highly recommend this place to friend groups or families alike!
The only thing we noticed was that the barbecue was a little small for such a large group. So keep this in mind when planning your meals.

Weekend Trip
Posted Aug. 21, 2022 on HomeAwaySpent the weekend here with a large group of friends, plenty of room for everyone, we had a lot of fun. Photos of property are accurate, host was great as well. Overall had a good stay here.

Disappointed
Posted Sep. 9, 2021 on HomeAwayI stayed at this property with my siblings who we had not seen each other for the past two years. We gathered in order to bury my parents who passed away just prior to COVID. I cannot with a clear conscience recommend this property for many reasons but will try to keep to two major ones. This property is priced unusually high given the location and what you get. I have stayed in expensive oceanfront properties for a whole week for the same price I paid for two days at this property. The second one is the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke which is throughout the house. I ended up with a headache for most of my stay as a result of it, cannot understand why any guest have to deal with this.

I’m sorry you feel that way, the website information is clear in regard to the facilities available including unlimited use of the swimming pool and hot tub, the price is also clearly advertised, if you believe the pricing was excessive, you were not forced to make a booking you could of simply declined, the pricing is based on a maximum of 16 persons regardless of individual party sizes. Again, the same comment as above applies, surely you were again aware of what you booked? I am assuming of course you read the information available, or have you simply booked without reading the details?. This is a holiday home and not a hotel, guests are not treated in the same manner as hotel visitors where smoking is strictly prohibited, we respect the privacy of our visitors once their vacation starts, there are no daily visits as would be the case in a hotel, we do state no smoking in the house, smoking however is allowed outside and in the gazebo, this however is very difficult to police. The dwelling is professionally cleaned between each party, if the smell of smoke was evident it would have been mentioned in the cleaning report to see if further action was required, no such report of smoke was made by the cleaning team.

Fantastic group getaway!
Posted Aug. 23, 2020 on HomeAwayLouise’s house is the perfect location for a group getaway. The house is a perfect layout for a larger group with multiple beds, a huge dining table both inside and out. Louise was a fantastic host who made sure we had everything we needed and then some. The pool, the hot tub and multiple outside shaded areas gave us so much room we were never under each other’s feet. Louise is also a massage therapist and one of our group took advantage of this and had what she said was “the best massage I’ve ever had”. Thank you Louise for an amazing weekend!

Large country home -great for large families and friends

We had a great time!
Posted Jul. 31, 2019 on HomeAwayWe came in to attend a wedding of a close family member in neighbouting laidback cottage seaside Pogwash. As a family group from USA, Toronto, Bermuda, and Jamaica, we had a very wonderful 2 nights stay. Cottage is spacious, clean, and has all the ingredients to ensure that we had a geat time, and topped up by a large above ground pool and wirlpool jacuzzi were the icing on the cake!
