Publié le 26 janv. 2019 sur HotelsA cute place that needed a little help. The WiFi was spotty. The bed when we arrived had no top sheet. Had to ask for hot water for the shower. Food was good. Bathroom was okay. For the money we paid per night, we expected better. If fact we did get better at other hotel stays for the same price.

Well, they tried.
Publié le 21 juin 2017 sur HotelsThe staff at St. Anne's are really nice, and they do try their best. That's about all I can say. When I first arrived I had to sit in the stifling office for 15 minutes while the manager looked at my booking confirmation on my phone. I was concerned that there was an issue, but he kept saying everything was fine.
I was finally shown to a lovely and spacious room...only to be dragged out of it 5 minutes later when they decided they'd shown me to the wrong one. My new room was much smaller, and it took 10 minutes before they could get the air conditioning to work. The Wi-Fi was the worst I've experienced in Sri Lanka.
I needed a rest after my long bus ride, and discovered at 8pm that it was too late to get any dinner. They were nice enough to make me a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice, so that was nice. There are no top sheets or blankets on the bed, so you'll be making do with a bath towel. Don't worry, you won't want to shower in the cold water, anyway.
Checkout the next day was just as confusing as check-in. Again I had to hand my phone over to the manager, who spent 20 minutes calling the Colombo office to confirm that Hotels.com had paid them for my stay so I could leave. It was all just really bizarre. They were nice about everything, but I would certainly never go back.

Pour : The setting is very nice,. its right on the lagoon. And the food was excellent..
Contre : Add mirrors to the rooms and specify about the bath room sharing.
Emplacement : We enjoyed the local scenery and seeing the fishermen.
We enjoyed staying here just one thing was not right they don't specify that the standard room you have to share a common bathroom. and the room don't have a mirror.
