Nice place , uncomfortable bed
Posted Mar. 29, 2024 on HotelsThe renovation of this previous police station is rather impressive, nice clean decor and excellent location in the centre of town , the 2 things that bothered me were , firstly the bed , which is actually 2 singles pushed together and the fact myself kept sliding between them and probably assisted by the mattress that I didn’t feel too comfortable on ,, the second thing was the cheapness of the sausage at breakfast time … the second being much less of an issue than the first …unless your stay relies on a good sausage 🤔 the lady that checked us in seamed to be working 18hr shifts was very pleasant and was holding it together rather well . Ah there was a third issue … the coffee was also rubbish ….

The hotel was fine staff good just the room heating was cold and had an electric heater that just maid a noise

Family lunch meeting

Spotlessly clean room, comfy bed, amazing walk in shower, evening food and drink lovely, breakfast fantastic. Best of all, really friendly and helpful staff.
