Rooms including bathrooms were very clean. I thought some of the meals were expensive for a mid-range hotel (£50 for soup and a steak).

Lovely staff, good clan bedroom with a room safe and fridge.
Breakfast was reasonable, but breakfast items left in warming trays (scrambled eggs, mushrooms, hash browns) were not very good. However, towards the end of the breakfast service, it was possible to get any of the egg dishes made directly by the chef.
Although only a 2 storey hotel, we did experience more noise from the room above us than would be expected if sound insulation had been properly installed.
The car park was excellent - size, and location was good with no audible traffic noise, yet easy acces to main routes.
