There was traffic noise from the road which was noticeable
It was difficult to locate the property because the sign was hard to see.

Thank you for staying with us and your comments. We regret that we have no control over the traffic noise and also that MNDOT has such tight restrictions on where we can place our signs. This has been difficult to manage as we most certainly want our guests to find us easily. We have installed yard signage to help with this problem. It was a very cozy room on a very snowy weekend in Minnesota. We enjoyed sitting by the fireside and reading. The breakfasts were wonderful. Steve is a great chef. We plan on visiting again when we visit St Olaf.

Quaint house next to the woods close to St Olaf campus. Quiet room, nice bed, great breakfast.

Warm hosts, great food!
Publié le 5 mars 2018 sur HotelsOur hosts, Lisa and Steve were so warm and welcoming. We had access to warm drinks, popcorn and movies in our room. Lisa made chocolate truffles and cookies, which were in our room when we arrived. Breakfast was a three course meal! It was expertly prepared and presented! Beds were so comfortable, better than any hotel!

Lives up to its name!
Publié le 25 févr. 2018 sur HotelsNestled in the shadow of St. Olaf College is this lovely, quiet property. Be prepared to be pampered with homemade truffles and a wonderful 3-course breakfast. Common rooms and bedroom are beautifully furnished and decorated. Our room did not have an attached bath, but it was literally a few steps away. Tub is sufficient, but not what I would consider deep-soaking/spa quality. The hosts are kind and caring and sincerely care for your well-being. Truly a home away from home experience.
