Not worth the savings

This is definitely a budget hotel. The condition left much to be desired. The towels were small and thin. The blinds were broken, but thankfully I could pull the curtain across to block out the glaring floodlight outside. The beds were poorly made upon arrival with the sheets untucked and the coverlet rumpled. The grout in the bathroom was crumbling and the building as a whole was in disrepair. I opted to not eat the breakfast which looked meager. The photos on line make it look livelier and more modern than it is in reality.

Heat wasn’t functioning. It turned on but had a bad burning smell. I turned it off and opened a window to clear the air. Luckily it was fall weather so didn’t really need the heat on quite yet otherwise that would have been bad. Bathroom did not seem very clean (may just be in serious need of remodel) and king size bed only had queen size blanket.

The room smelled, the carpet needs replacing, there were cigarette burns around the bathroom sink, the shower curtain was filthy, the shower stall needs replacing, the bath tub doesn’t work (no drain closer), the whole place needs a makeover.

Bathroom door wouldn’t close as the inside of it was swollen and damaged. Other than fresh towels the lack of cleanliness made you question if anything was cleaned. One of the pillow cases has stains on it. Pretty sketchy overall. Would not recommend staying there unless it was your only option and last resort. Stay at your own risk.
