No heating in bathroom

Charming hotel but there was no heating in the bathroom which was very cold (10 C). You can feel the freezing cold through the windows and walls.

Hi Jean,So sorry to hear this. All our bathrooms have radiators, if it doesn't seem to be working please always contact Reception and we can get our maintenance team to get it sorted.We hope you will give us another chance whenever you're next in the area :-)

Room in annex okay, but no more

The room I was assigned was in an ground floor annex slightly separate from the main building. The room was okay, but slightly musty and cold, even in the summer (I had to put the air-conditioning on heat to warm it up). The room looked out straight out onto the car part with just some straggly plants to try to hide the view. There was almost no sound-proofing between the rooms in the annex, so you heard anything and everything from the other rooms. Although the surfaces were all clean, the lights all had cobwebs hanging from them, and hadn't been properly cleaned in quite a while. The restaurant was very good however, and breakfast was excellent - cooked to order. Not a disaster by any stretch, but not as good as expected or hoped.

Hi There,Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, and we apologise for the shortfalls you have experienced.We really appreciate the honesty and have taken your comments on board and passed on to the relevant teams to prevent this from happening again.With regards to the room temperature - as it has been really hot recently we have been setting the air con units to cooling, however as you said these are easily changed to the desired temperature when you arrive.If there is anything else we can do please let us know, and we hope you give us another chance in the future :-)

Booked in here last minute after the other Best Western I was booked into had no water. A warm welcome, a hot bath and a beautiful clean sheets. Room was lovely.

Lovely hotel nice room great bathroom but the shower needed attention which I mentioned on leaving should have been noticed though beforehand

Receptionist very welcoming and excellent customer service. I have to leave early and she has organised some breakfast for me at 6.45. Staff like this make hotels memorable
