Interior needs updating

We agree this property has the best views.. New laminate wood flooring downstairs. New twin sofa (for 2024 season) and leather armchair, and sofa-bed. All new carpets to stairs and bedrooms for 2024 season. Kitchen has stainless steel double oven and ceramic glass hob.

Great location shame about the property 😫
Publié le 16 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe location of the property is first class although the general appearance & interior leaves a lot to be desired, I don’t think it’s been refurbished since the 70s on the first day my husband sat in one of the chairs & a leg broke, the settee wasn’t comfortable at all as it was a bed settee which was like sitting on the floor! The bed had springs sticking out of it, the plastic bath/shower mat was mouldy, etc etc, this cottage has so much potential but alas the owner isn’t prepared to update the fixtures & fittings, what a shame. All in all we were very disappointed!!

It was unfortunate that a chair leg broke which we repaired immediately. You seem to feel able to judge us as owners. In the past 5 years we have redecorated throughout, new wood flooring to ground floor, and for 2024 season we have all brand new carpets to stairs and bedrooms and a new 2-seat sofa to add to the sofa-bed and leather swivel armchair.
The kitchen is equipped with a stainless steel double oven and ceramic glass hob.

Holiday at Wroxham

Good position small 2 bed airy home

Wroxham is lovely

The biggest disadvantage for us was just that it felt a bit cramped and the downstairs furniture was not comfortable.
If you want great views and love fishing this is certainly the cottage for you. If you are that bit older like us we would like bit more comfort.

Wherry cottage hoveton
Publié le 13 août 2022 sur HomeAwaySuperb location. Bog standard inside. Anytime you moved upstairs the upstairs creaked. Including taking a shower it even creaked in the shower. Pet hairballs up the stairs. We had no hot water for the week because we didn't know where or how to turn it on. All this didn't spoil our time there. We had a great week

Lovely cottage on the water
Publié le 8 août 2022 sur HomeAwayA little bit smaller than expected. it would be a bit of a struggle for four adults. Some reviews say it needs decorating and updating but actually it was probably that the furniture was a bit mismatched, not that it bothered us. Slightly musty in the main bedroom.
None of the above spoiled the wonderful time that we had. An easy walk to the town centre, right on the busy river, fishing on the doorstep. We would definately visit again.
