A wonderful selection of ales. The menu was a bit basic, but very tasty. The room was comfortable, although could do with redecorating due to a water leak in the roof. Helen the bar maid was very friendly and helpful. On the whole, a pleasant trip.

Great stay at the station
Publié le 28 mars 2024 sur HotelsThe station hotel bar areas where really nice up to date, clean and nice decor, outside area, near for when the weather is good, also do food, staff are really welcoming, polite and genuine, rooms are are large, tv w/c, could do with an update in decor id say, maybe en-suits in all rooms. But good rooms to stay over whilst working away and such. Found the kingsize bed very comfy, i would definitely stay again, good prices to.

The Bar was dirty with spilt beer,Tables dirty I had to ask staff to wipe them both & they didnt wipe the whole table just the bit in front of us.There wasnt many other people in.
The carpet was Black on the stairs to our room The accomodation was terrible, really cold, extension leads all over the place.Needed a whole revamp throughout, Honestly dont stay, unless you are really really desperate. Dont be drawn by the 4.3 rating or the pictures
