Very friendly staff, what's beyond is the best customer service and excellent hospitality they offer very clean n tidy n it's a very good hideaway from the noisy township

Beautiful villa in quiet neighbourhood

It's a bit far from the centre which is not a disadvantage thanks to local buses and the owner who is super caring and offered us free lifts. We also got the chance to try local food and got to now a lot about the country. Definitely recommended!

静かに過ごせるヴィラ

Pour : オーナーの人柄、施設の清潔さ。
Contre : 特にないです。
Emplacement : メイン道路まで歩いて１時間弱の場所に宿があるので、静かには過ごせます。
宿から徒歩５分ぐらいで海岸にいけます。トンガのプールといわれる場所にも徒歩１５分ぐらいでいけます。
宿のオーナには良くして頂きました。観光など色々相談のってもらって、車で連れて行って頂きました。
オフシーズンの平日だったので、他に泊り客もいなかったので一人で施設を使うことが出来ました。
部屋、シャワー室、トイレ、キッチンも清潔でした。
キッチンも広いので使いやすいです。

Remote but quiet, clean and friendly place
Publié le 20 mai 2017 sur HotelsThe place is little remote, about 5 km from downtown, but very quite place in the village. The owner lady is very beautiful and friendly. There is a Popua public bus service on the main road every 10-15 minutes until 5 pm, price for ride was 0,8 TOP. It's 10 minutes ride to downtown. There are no buses on Sunday.

Thank you Ausrys for your feedback, we appreciate it. It was a pleasure to have you stay at the Villa. You are absolutely right, the public bus service would take10 mins and travels frequently, a private/hired vehicle will take approx 5 mins drive to the town centre depending on the traffic hours.

The facilities are alright you have kitchen so you can cook easily, the washing machine is 15$ top, the lady was friendly the first day, for internet she will give you the password for free but the last day she will ask you some money, for the breakfast, we were disapointed you have to prepare your breakfast she onle prepare the breakfast the first day, lol.The honour try everyday to take your money she always asking us to drive us to the town but it was 50$ top more expensive than taxi and bus (2$top), and she 's not helping you if you don't spend your money with her !! we talk with many local people and Fortunatly they were awesome, we have so great time in nuku alofa and this rest of the island but just be carefull if you take this accomodation !!

We apologise for any inconvenience or miscommunication caused during your trip to Tonga.
Your feedback will enable us to improve on our services to our guests.
But just to set the record straight so that are no confusion for our future guests:
*Breakfast is included daily and its a Tropical breakfast. We lay everything on the table in the morning as its more convenient for all our guests to help themselves whenever they are awake.
*Broadband/Wifi: We have just gotten this connected just before your arrived and we did communicate to you the cost per GB but unfortunately you did not want to pay this after your use.
*$50TOP transport cost. I believe you are referring to the Airport shuttle pickup as this is the cost. Any transportation to anywhere else, we charge very reasonably or we offer you alternatives.
*Laundry: We also communicated this to you the cost but unfortunately you did not want to pay.
Overall, we have learnt something valuable here and we will endeavour to put in processes to improve on all our services and make sure that we communicate everything in the beginning.
While Our Villa is of quality with Air con and fully furnished/equipped and our price is very affordable and included in your room rate, some services are extra cost but reasonable price in TOP.
However, thank you for staying with us and we wish you all the best in your journey.

Emplacement : Nesr to facilities. I recommend getting a car to see the whole island properly :)
The host at Tonga Holiday Villa is lovely and really helpful!!
Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit every morning which was lovely.
Highly recommend!

Genuine experience at the Tonga Holiday Villa

Pour : This hotel made me feel like I was at home. I felt completely at ease here and it did not feel like it was not my own bed.
Contre : Perhaps there could be a dinner menu available for those guests who wish to taste authentic Tongan food.
Emplacement : The location is about a 20-30 minute walk from the city depending on how fast you walk.
The host: Pai'a is an amazing host who goes above and beyond with her customer service. She is very accommodating and friendly and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. If you need information, feel free to ask her.
The house: The house is very clean and tidy. The kitchen is self-contained so if you want to self-cater, you easily can. the lounge has aircon and there are fans in the bedrooms. The view from the second floor balcony and bedroom windows are STUNNING! It is like waking up to the birds of paradise. Although this is a quiet area, the birds do sing a lot so it can be noisy for those who are light sleepers. Also, roosters in Tonga do not only sing at dawn just so you know.
The gardens: Everywhere you look is tropical and green. When you are upstairs, you can see a jungle of banana leaves and trees until the ocean.
I would highly recommend this place if you want somewhere close to the city but distinctly not in the city. You will likely get more of a genuine experience here if that's what you're looking for.
