Disappointing

Damaged/torn bedding and towels, dust came from the ceiling, used/dirty duvet covers, one bed was broken and kept top of the on the wood, outdated shower room.
Not value for money.

There was no heating. No good at all. Not worth the price. Remove the listing from Expedia.

Sorry to inform that this lady Guest had a wrong understanding. She has looked at the photo of main page (room 8 USD 42.00) but has booked another room (room 1 USD 25.00) and demanded for room 8 on arrival for rate of USD 25.00. She was not listening and willing to accept her fault. The room no 1
has proper heating equipment also. She didn't make any complain about heating during her stay. Free buffet breakfast also offered on both days. I don't understand on what grounds and with what mind she has suggested to remove this from listings????

The boss lives in Colombo, so the organisation of the hotel is horrible. The rooms are overpriced and the humidity of the room makes everything feel cold and uncomfortable: the sheets were smelly and humid. There is only one plug but it doesn't work. The plumbering is malfunctionning and there is hit water for only 10 minutes. Would not recommend...

Noted the comments of the guest who stayed in this room. This is Room no 1 Triple at Ground floor. I know that the 2 guests in this room had an argument with my manager over the room rate because they wanted to extend the stay by another day. They came with a one day booking for USD 30.86 on 11th Jan with Expedia Collect basis. Additional day on 12th Jan they wanted from us for about USD 14.00. We didn't agree and we said our rate is USD 30.86 and told to do a booking but they didn't agree first. When we showed the Expedia booking details they said it was wrong and they were told by Expedia the room rate was only about USD 14.00. Then finally they made another booking for 12th Jan for USD 30.86 because they said they don't have cash and have only credit card.There was a misunderstanding about the room rate and they were not happy so I can understand their feelings and submitting such review. However, I take their comments with a positive note if any improvements to be done because our effort is to satisfy the customer. I thank them again for the review for benefit of every one.
