Publié le 28 août 2019 sur HotelsNous sommes arrivés dans cet hotel et nos chambres n'étaient pas prêtes. Nous avons attendu un peu et personne n'est venu les faire donc je suis retournée à la réception et là ils nous ont changer de chambres. Celles-ci étaient parfaites, très spacieuse avec une très bonne literie. Cet hotel est dans un très beau cadre, la vue est magnifique. Le restaurant est très bien. Nous avons pris un très bon petit déjeuner amèricain.

No boat parking
Publié le 24 mai 2021 sur HotelsAfter booking at the River Ranch at Cedar Shore for a weekend fishing trip, was very disappointed when I checked in to learn that they had changed my room reservation to the Hotel. I booked the river ranch because I have a boat and needed space to park boat, there is none at the Hotel!

Good value for money. Access to a nice resort. Nice view of Missouri from the room. An oasis in the desert of central South Dakota

River Ranch met our need for a place to stay the night as we traveled through the state. The room was clean and in overall good condition. It met the description and had the amenities listed. I liked the separate entrance for each room and parking right out front. There were a few small items that needed maintenance but nothing that caused a significant inconvenience (toilet was loose so it wobbled slightly when you sat down and the bathroom fan didn't look like it was quite right in the ceiling but it worked). My only negative was the service at check in. The desk worker was polite but other than giving me the key and directions to the room, there was zero information provided about where anything was, hours, not even the Wi-Fi password. I assumed that was because the information would be in the room but there was no information there either.

First of all, arrived at the property and they gave away our room. We made reservations about a month in advance. Then they “upgraded” us to a room on the river with a balcony ( It was normally 189.00.) NOT an upgrade at all! The room overlooked the outside bar, which was fine, but there was a stage for the band that would play until almost 10:00. I know that doesn’t seem late for some but after traveling all day we were tired. They happen to mention there was a wedding at the facility, on the other end, well guess what roamed the halls until 3AM? Drunk guests that were screaming, yelling, singing, knocking on doors... At check out they said they were aware of those guest and still didn’t stop it. A really awful experience. P.S. you need to clean the entire entry to this building, it was so dirty.

We were not given what we reserved. We reserved a cabin for us and our two dogs and were given a second floor room in the middle of the resort hotel.
