MV Weekend Get-away

Upon entering the property, everything was very clean and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It felt like home. We would definitely book this property again.

Over priced

We have been staying here for 6 years but it has become very expensive for what it is. The location is great, easy walking distance to oak bluffs. We did see skunks under the front deck numerous times which made us not want to be outside in the evening, even before dark.

Cute property, but their rake hike was pretty terrible

Spent the weekend after labor day here the last two summers. House is cute. Beds aren't the most comfortable. We actually brought a pad for one of them and an air mattress this year. We walked back and forth to Circuit Ave, takes about 10mins. Disappointed that when we went to rebook they hiked the rates for the same stay.

Great with a few exceptions

Great with a few exceptions: plastic shower curtain was not clean (mold spots); we had issues with the key and no one reached out. There needs to be 2 keys on property. The trees in front of the home need trimming to allow better space for 2 cars to park in the small space. Despite these minor issues, we will be returning.

Three Sister Annual Adventure

Despite the deficiencies we had a great time. When I first approached the property I almost turned away. The grass was so long and the flower beds so over grown (fear of ticks in the grass). I thought I had the wrong house. I called VACASA that night and the lawn got trimmed. We were told the main entry was in the back but there was no path to the back door and the back porch was unwelcoming. There were no directions on the use of the Portable dishwasher or grill (I tried turning on the gas and push starter). There was no information about the area sights or activities. I know it is the first of the season but the house could have been aired out.

Needs Maintenance

We had to replace spent light bulbs, cloths dryer did not work. Garbage stickers should have been included in rental fee.

Family vaca 2021

Bed were comfortable and house was perfectly clean only suggesting is a little bit of landscape maintenance ,over grown trees and bushes on side and back of house but other then that no complaints and property management company was outstanding emailed them about a password for wifi on a sunday night figuring I would get a response on mon ,within minutes I had gotten back to me was very impressed anytime I sent an email got a response usally right away would def stay there again.

Potential...

Dishwasher is portable. Very dirty inside when we arrived. Couldn't figure out how to hook up to kitchen sink faucet. No instructions left for guests. Never used and had to wash dishes by hand. Gas grill did not work -wire hanging when we arrived. No grilling for us. Both air conditions need to have filters clean; smoke detector went off in the middle of the night for no reason. Guessing batteries need changing. Dryer took excessive time to dry despite a clean filter. Guessing vent needs to be blown out for safety.

Winthrop Cottage

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of this house. It was “dingy”. There was mold in the tub, spider webs in the corners, the fans were caked with dust. The outside furniture outside in the deck was so old and dirty I wouldn’t sit it in it. The grill outside had old food caked on it. The yard was overgrown and not managed. The kitchen was ill equipped and did not have wine glasses and the utensils were old and not clean. This is the type of property you crash at night but do not want to spend any additional time in the house.

Cute home

We loved our stay in this home. It was perfect for our vacation on the island this year. It had everything we needed.
