Fantastic place to catch your breath!
Publié le 30 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayWe come out to the island to enjoy short, stays every summer and it tends to be a whirlwind of a long weekend. Island Inn is the perfect spot to stay for our family. The accommodations are clean and comfortable, the property is well maintained and everyone has always been very friendly and welcoming. We bring our dogs with us (Labs) and having a large outside space that allows us to exercise them without bugging anyone who may not be dog people is priceless! I can throw the ball and walk them around and not be within 50ft of anyone. BTW… having Nomans restaurant bordering the property is awesome too! Great food, strong drinks and a great outdoor atmosphere with live music too. And I don’t even need to drive! We have stayed at Island Inn a few time and look forward to our next adventure there!

Underwhelming experience
Publié le 20 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe cleaning staff was very efficient and consistent daily. Unfortunately the unite had mice present at night time which was not pleasant and despite it looking clean made it feel dirty.
The walls are so thin that we couldnt sleep well with upstairs guests moving around heavily every night past 1 am and guests next door going in and out of the unit with storm door slamming very early each morning. The tennis courts are false advertisement because it’s not truly for guest use. There is what seems like a private tennis club where no courts were ever free and the director wanted you to only have access by registering for a match versus leisure volleying

Great value
Publié le 30 juin 2023 sur HomeAway+++ cost, amenities, responsiveness, great location for families. Room was very clean except the previous guest put away dirty dishes. Bed was fabulous!
- - - we were on ground level - no privacy sheers just blackout. Bathrooms did not have vents so that walls sweated.
Good location for the center of Oak bluffs and an easy ride to Edgartown.

We wanted a short get away and decided to spend a few days here. We are so happy we did! We chose the perfect time!
Your home appears to be one of the more updated /comfortable units in this building. Thank you for putting love and thought in your decor - and for being pet friendly - another added bonus to love!
The surroundings have been quiet and serene.
While here - we visited: the cliffs in Aquinnah, Lucie Vincent Beach, the “gingerbread houses” of Oak Bluff, Edgartown, the Mytoi Japanese garden and Wasque Point Beach on Chappaquidick.
This has been one of the most relaxing and memorable getaways we have had in years. Your beautiful home with amazing water pressure in the shower to come home to at then end of our exploring just topped it all off.
Thank you for “sharing” your amazing home! We can’t wait to come again in the future!

A Very Good Property
Publié le 21 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayEverything went well, except for certain communications with Vacasa. It ignored a pre-visit question I posed. In addition, it failed to pay much attention to a text message at the end. I texted with an alert that I was leaving a day early. The response evidenced no understanding of the text. These weren't major matters but travelers should be careful in communicating with this company.

Beautiful place, great location

There are lots of fun activities for the kids including the pool, Cornhole, fire pits, tennis, a playground, and a fun restaurant on site with fire pit tables and activities, not to mention delicious food. The location is perfect being right in the middle between Edgarstown and Oaks Bluff. We would definitely stay here again!
