Excellent Family Trip!

We’ve been traveling to the Vineyard for years and often choose The Island Inn as our place to stay. This year was by far our most enjoyable vacation! The communication prior to our arrival was excellent, the check in was easy and informative and the management of the room and grounds at Island Inn was superb. One night the guests above were noisy past quiet hrs. We called the overnight mgmt and they handled the situation with professionalism and promptly. The bonus is the restaurant next door Normans, which is always a fun time with great music and atmosphere. We are looking to return in August, definitely a Must Stay!

Uninspiring

Dirty. Ill equipped. Awkward And cheap furnishings. Cheap and insufficient kitchenware, like pans, pots etc. underwhelming given all the money we paid.

Enjoyed all the island had to offer but also enjoyed the condo’s property... pool, lawn games, and BBQ. Would go back again.

Anniversary stay

The stay started out kind of rocky - went to make breakfast first morning and no power to stove, lights out on ceiling light in living room/kitchen area, TV in bedroom not working. Called and they came right away to fix the stove issue (circuit breaker not turned on) and replaced light bulb. Said they would fix TV in bedroom, but didn't. After the manager finally got it to English, and still not able to watch, I personally fixed it so there was a picture. The manager did try to help, but didn't know how to program the TV. Also, room service not done after first night there - no clean towels, dish towels. Overall, I may consider staying there again in the future, but would not stay in the building we were in since we were only facing the entrance road and trees - would stay in a condo that had views of the pool and open area and would stay in a room that had more than just the light coming in from the slider.

Great staff, oldish property

Extremely nice staff! The property was not as updated as I would have liked. The sliding closet door nearly fell on my mother and I had to set it aside behind the living room table, and no attention was paid to it as the room was cleaned during the seven days I was there. There was also evidence of mold in the bathroom ceiling and around the bathroom walls. main television remote was not working!

We appreciate this guest leaving feedback. The door has been rehung and secured. The entire bathroom is being repainted and a new ceiling fan is being installed. We hope to host this guest again soon.
