Peaceful Location
Publié le 29 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful location. Easy drive to Steamboat. It was a semi last minute trip and not many places that were private, dog friendly, and had a hot tub. Thankfully we found this gem. More space than we needed but all good. Well stocked with supplies such as some coffee pods, cleaning supplies, shampoos, and towels. Nice trail on the property to let our dog run. We loved the hot tub and sitting out admiring the beautiful night sky. Steamboat area was popping with fall colors so terrific timing for a small getaway.

Away from the city
Publié le 18 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe found the house and property very relaxing in itself. And yet it was easy to pop into town for additional entertainment.
There is an underground tunnel from the main house. My only suggestion would be to allow the renters to lock the door from the rental unit side since it opens to the children's sleeping area. There wasn't any problem, but it felt a bit uncomfortable at first.

It was wonderful having you all at the guesthouse. The door to the tunnel does lock from the inside. It is the same as most of the exterior doors at the guesthouse and can be locked by lifting the handle.

Fun stay near Steamboat

Wonderful getaway
Publié le 6 août 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful facility. We wish we'd had known to bring tin foil and saran wrap for our leftovers. Pretty minor inconveniences, but good to know. Mark was very attentive to every question we had and appreciate how quickly he responded.
I would recommend this home to anyone.

Thanks for your review Scott. We do provide both tin foil and saran wrap (as well as a long list of other amenities) but depending on usage, it sometimes runs out before we notice. You said "Mark was very attentive to every question we had and appreciate how quickly he responded". In the same spirit, if we had known the guesthouse was out of saran wrap and tin foil, we would have gladly brought some over right away.

The house had ample space for everyone. The owner and his wife have done extensive landscaping around the property since our first visit. With the addition of a gorgeous pond as you drive into the property and a new deck going up to the hot tub area, this property is truly a gem. My entire family loved our stay.

Peaceful getaway

We really enjoyed starting the day with coffee on the decks watching the sun rise up from the mountains.
